How To Know That You Have An Infestation Of Bed Bugs

Little Blood Spots Are Left On Your Sheets

When you wake up after a night of rest, you will want to closely examine your bed sheets. Are there are lot of little blood stains? They will most likely be very small and appear to be brown in color. After all, as blood dries, the color changes from red to brown. If you do not spot any blood spots, or maybe a single one, you may not have bed bugs that you have to worry about. This is because you could have accidentally scratched your face or brushed off a scab while you were sleeping.

You Have Small Red Spots All Over You

It is not uncommon to find yourself with a few mosquito bites here and there throughout the summer months. You could even wake up one morning to find a red bump on you that was the result of a single bug, such as a spider, that climbed on you and bit you in the middle of the night. However, if you are noticing that you have a lot of little red bumps on your skin and many of them are in a row, this should be considered a clear sign that you may be dealing with a bed bug problem. This is because these little bugs have a tendency to jump a few times across your skin before relocating or jumping off of you and back onto your bed.

Leftover Skin And Eggs Shells Are On Your Mattress

These can be extremely small in size. Therefore, you might want to find a magnifying glass that you can use so you can spot the egg casings or the shreds of old bed bug skin on your mattress. Remove your fitted sheet and look closely along the edges of the mattress and wherever there are little grooves all over it.
